A leading technology company developing advanced, high-performance products is looking for an experienced Electro-Optics Team Leader to join its multidisciplinary R&D organization.

We are looking for a strong technical leader who can combine deep expertise in optics and electro-optics with hands-on engineering, team leadership, and the ability to drive complex development activities from concept through integration and verification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the professional and managerial activities of an Electro-Optics engineering team.
- Define technical requirements and specifications for critical electro-optical components and subsystems.
- Drive component selection, characterization, evaluation, and integration based on performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the optical design lifecycle - from requirements definition and architecture through verification and validation.
- Lead the investigation and evaluation of new electro-optical technologies for current and future products.
- Solve complex engineering challenges in optics and electro-optics.
- Establish and manage technical interfaces with local and international suppliers and development partners.
- Lead supplier evaluations, technology assessments, technical reviews, and co-development activities.
- Define test methodologies and procedures for electro-optical components and subsystems.
- Plan, conduct, and analyze characterization tests and engineering experiments.
- Define laboratory, measurement, and test infrastructure requirements.
- Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Systems Engineering teams to ensure successful system integration.
- Mentor and develop team members, assign priorities, and drive execution.
- Report progress, technical risks, and key milestones to the development management.
