Electronics Design Team Leader
A leading technology company is looking for an experienced Electronics Design Team Leader to lead a team responsible for the design and development of advanced electronic boards and systems.
This is a key technical leadership role for an experienced Board Design professional who combines strong hands-on design expertise with the ability to lead engineers, make technical decisions, and drive development activities from initial requirements through design, integration, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Electronics Design Engineers, providing professional guidance and setting technical priorities.
- Lead the design and development of complex electronic boards and assemblies.
- Take ownership of board-level design solutions, technical decisions, and design methodologies.
- Review and approve schematics, PCB designs, and engineering solutions.
- Lead development activities from requirements definition and architecture through design, integration, verification, and transfer to production.
- Work closely with Mechanical, Software, Electro-Optics, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
- Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert in electronics and board design.
- Drive resolution of complex design and integration challenges.
- Support design reviews, technical risk assessment, and engineering decision-making.
- Manage priorities and ensure delivery according to schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
- Mentor and develop engineers and promote professional best practices within the team.
