We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer to lead the development of advanced, high-reliability power systems operating in demanding technical environments.
Important note: this role is not related to commercial/home solar energy or PV inverters.
Design and develop advanced DC-DC converters (isolated / non-isolated, POL, high-efficiency topologies).
Lead power architecture development for complex multi-disciplinary systems: energy management, load distribution, regulation, and control.
Design end-to-end PDNs, including stability analysis, noise, impedance modeling, and WCCA.
Develop MPPT algorithms and power-conditioning mechanisms as part of a broader integrated system - not for standard PV installations.
Design BMS and Battery Charge Regulation for advanced lithium-based energy storage systems.
Work according to high-reliability requirements, including derating rules, component hardening, and radiation-related design considerations.
Build prototypes, perform lab testing, validation, and environmental testing.
Collaborate closely with system, mechanical, thermal, software, and V&V teams.
✔ Work on advanced power systems - not commercial solar inverters
✔ High technical ownership and real influence on system architecture
✔ A top-tier engineering environment
✔ Exposure to cutting-edge power technologies
BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering - power specialization a strong advantage.
6-10 years of hands-on experience in designing power converters (Buck/Boost/Flyback/LLC, etc.).
Experience in PDN design, MPPT, BMS, or other high-reliability electronics.
Proficiency with SPICE simulations, PCB design tools, and power analysis.
Experience with complex, multi-disciplinary engineered systems (Aerospace / Defense / High-Reliability).
Knowledge of digital control, FPGA/PWM-based control, GaN/SiC, EMI/EMC, and reliability standards (ECSS/DO/NASA – not mandatory).
