Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Technical Program Manager to work closely with Engineering leadership and drive technical execution across a complex multidisciplinary engineering organization.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role — not a traditional project management position. The role serves as a technical partner to Engineering leadership, helping identify engineering challenges, evaluate alternatives, guide technical solutions, and drive complex issues through to resolution.

The position has a strong focus on electronics development, while requiring a broad system-level understanding of multidisciplinary hardware, including electronics, boards, electrical systems, cabling, mechanics, RF, and system interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Engineering leadership on technical priorities, challenges, and execution.
Drive resolution of complex engineering issues, with a strong focus on electronics.
Understand development challenges, evaluate technical alternatives, and help guide teams toward effective engineering solutions.
Coordinate technical activities and interfaces across Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, RF, Systems, and other engineering disciplines.
Identify technical gaps, dependencies, risks, and interface issues and drive them to closure.
Work closely with R&D teams throughout design, development, integration, qualification, and NPI.
Review engineering deliverables, design changes, technical documentation, BOMs, and development status.
Facilitate technical discussions and ensure decisions, actions, and engineering solutions are clearly defined and executed.
Provide Engineering leadership with visibility into technical issues, risks, dependencies, and development progress.
Support cross-functional resolution of issues involving Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Drive execution across multiple teams and influence without direct authority.

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering field.
7+ years of experience in engineering development roles involving complex hardware systems.
Strong practical understanding of electronics development, including electronic boards, interfaces, signals, power, debugging, and engineering trade-offs.
Proven ability to analyze technical problems, evaluate alternative solutions, and guide engineering teams toward the right technical direction.
Broad multidisciplinary understanding of systems combining:
- Electronics and PCB / board design
- Electrical systems, power, and cabling / harnesses
- Mechanical systems and assemblies
- RF / high-frequency interfaces
- System integration and multidisciplinary interfaces
Ability to understand both engineering-level details and the overall system, including interfaces and dependencies between disciplines.
Experience working with R&D teams throughout the design, development, integration, qualification, and NPI phases.
Ability to challenge technical assumptions, identify risks and trade-offs, and drive issues to resolution.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Ability to influence and guide experienced engineering teams without direct authority.
Fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with complex hardware products or multidisciplinary engineering environments.
Experience in high-reliability industries such as aerospace, defense, communications, automotive, medical, or industrial systems.
Experience with engineering change processes, PLM/ERP systems, BOM management, and product lifecycle processes.
Experience working with global R&D and manufacturing organizations.

The Ideal Candidate

A senior engineer with broad technical depth and strong development experience who can move comfortably between detailed electronics issues and system-level challenges.

Someone who can understand a problem, ask the right technical questions, challenge assumptions, connect the relevant engineering disciplines, and help determine and drive the right engineering solution.

The successful candidate will combine strong electronics expertise, multidisciplinary system understanding, engineering judgment, and the ability to get things done across a complex organization.
