A growing high-tech company developing complex multidisciplinary systems is looking for an experienced NPI Engineer to lead the transition of products from development to mass and serial production.
The role involves complex systems integrating electronic boards, RF, mechanical assemblies, cabling, and ruggedized components, designed to meet stringent technical and regulatory requirements. The position includes close collaboration with subcontractors and manufacturing partners in Israel and worldwide.
DFX Leadership: Implement DFM, DFA, and DFT methodologies to optimize product design for manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
Engineering Builds: Lead prototype and engineering build cycles (EVT/DVT/PVT) at manufacturing sites, including qualification and approval of specialized assembly processes.
Manufacturing Line & Test Equipment: Support production line design, define engineering fixtures and calibration jigs, and develop detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assembly and testing.
Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Resolve complex technical issues on production lines and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D teams across mechanical, electronics, RF, digital, power, and software engineering, as well as Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
Excellent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken, with experience working directly with international suppliers.
