A leading technology company is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong hardware engineering background to lead execution of complex R&D development projects.
The role is focused on driving end-to-end delivery of hardware-based systems within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, ensuring alignment between design, development, integration, and delivery targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of complex hardware and system development projects within the R&D organization
- Own detailed project planning, task definition, scheduling, and end-to-end progress tracking
- Ensure delivery of engineering milestones on time, within scope, and according to quality and technical requirements
- Manage technical activities with subcontractors involved in hardware development (e.g., cables, connectors, electro-mechanical assemblies, test fixtures/jigs)
- Drive coordination and alignment across multiple R&D, infrastructure, and operations teams in a matrix environment
- Work closely with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of development goals
- Monitor project progress continuously, identify risks, dependencies, and execution gaps, and drive mitigation actions
- Identify bottlenecks in development and execution flows and lead resolution activities with engineering teams
- Ensure clear communication of status, risks, and priorities to stakeholders at different levels of the organization
- Support process improvements to enhance execution efficiency and delivery performance
- Adapt to evolving technical requirements and shifting priorities while maintaining project stability
