The R&D Project Management department leads our development initiatives, combining superior project management capabilities with significant technical skills.
We are seeking an experienced and talented Technical Project Manager with strong technical expertise to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The technical project manager will lead the HW development Product.
You will act as a technical project manager and work in a matrix style with all RnD professional disciplines.
Working with multiple teams and disciplines in the RnD and Operations departments and responsible for being the connecting link between the different groups, mechanics, Optics, HW, System architecture, SW, and more.
As part of the HW deliveries, the technical project manager is responsible for the full design cycle of the HW, from the product and system requirements closure, HW design of the full system and releasing all parts to production to full HW integration and bring up. HW deliveries are followed by a full validation phase including HW failure analysis and all according to customers' schedules and delivery plans.
Under its role, the technical project manager is responsible for following the design for manufacturing (DFM) practices and working tightly with NPI and production teams.
The technical project manager will be the point of contact (POC) in front of the customer on all HW-related topics, managing and monitoring the day-to-day activities according to the delivery and project plan and according to the company’s targets.
B.Sc. In Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar – must.
M.Sc – an advantage.
Experience and proven track record with a similar role, large-scale project management with strong technical orientation in a multidisciplinary company – At least 3-5 years must.
Experience managing cross-functional programs and work plans.
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
Experience with HW development methodologies (SRR,PDR,CDR,etc) - must.
Experience in design for manufacturing, design to cost, design for testing practices
Experience with HW validation concept and methodologies – an advantage.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written – Hebrew and English) and ‘customer facing’ capabilities – ability to present and deliver technical content in front of global customers and company’s executives.
Ability to work efficiently in a multi-disciplinary environment with tight, fast-paced development schedules.
Time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
Team-oriented and good interpersonal skills, ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team.
Comfortable challenging peers and managers in a healthy and constructive way.
