configuration management Engineer

• Build and continues improve configuration control tools and process.
• Review and feedback mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standard.
• Create/Update and Review technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows that describe existing products’ operation, features and maintenance)
• Perform and oversee the Engineering Changes.
• SAP support – BOM creation and modification
• Establish and maintain the products configuration control during the life of the company products.
• Provide training and guidance to Engineering and Production team members in PLM
• Document Control & Configuration Manager, Engineering

• Deep understanding in Engineering and Operation processes
• High level of experience with PLM Systems (Agile, Arena, Master control – advantage)
• English – high level.
• Able to communicate clearly and maintain good working relationship with peers from different technical branches.
• Strong project management skills – must be able to set project schedules, manage tasks, influence others without authority and mitigate project risks
• Punctual (attention to details).
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent and team working abilities
• Multi-tasking

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 + years of proven experience with Document Control  & Product Configuration
• Deep understanding of PLM Systems (Agile, Arena, Master control – Advantage)
• A mechanical engineering background – Advantage
• CAD Drawing (SolidWork) – Advantage
• Full control of drawing standards
• Implementing a new PLM system – Advantage
• Computerized system tools
