Design verification & validation Engineer

HW/SW, Optics and System Test experience, Software Python language deep knowledge.
Develop and implement Functional Testing in development and integration phase that can test individual components and full system
Responsibilities:
Design and implement tests/test setups that assure product feature functionality and reliability expectations.
Work with senior team members to collect lidar system data and asses its quality.
Develop tests and experiments (both lab and field based) that find the limits of the product capabilities and feed those findings back to the team to push those boundaries out further.
Responsible for developing lidar system test methods, data collection, analyzing results, and reporting those results to the team

BSc Electronic Engineer/Physicist or equivalent.
3 yrs of hands on experience testing and debugging Hardware and Software.
Understanding of QA processes/methodologies advantage in both software and hardware development environment.
Experience with testing/debugging, knowledge with bug tracking tools like JIRA, automated testing tools, processes and metric consumption.
Strong Python and/or other scripting language skills.
Self-motivated, dynamic individual who can easily adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Self-driven with sense of urgency and responsibility.
Preferences
Knowledge of Lidar, Computer vision and Image processing applications and devices.
